It Must Be Monday

So what'll it be for today? A nihilist mattress? (Actually, it might be existentialist, depending on how you read it. Discuss in comments if you care to; we need more coffee first.)

Or a government sign demanding that we do the impossible?

Thanks to Linnea D. for the inscrutable turn sign.

Reminds me of the new sign in the gov't building where I worked advertising the "Comminications Room."

'm thinking the mattress was attempting a witty (if depressing) pun. Never mind that it was misspelled...

Right lane MUST turn left huh? Okay, then. You said, government. I'm just a law-abiding citizen over here.

no, right lane must *RIGHT* left - not "turn" left. And when you figure out what "right[ing] left" is, let me know :P

Love the sign! I'm thinking it's sort of a marching order with a jody call. (right, left, right, left...) As in, "right lane must get a move on!" :)

I see a little silhouette of a bed...

Misspelled or not (and probably due to the late hour now), I find the mattress hilarious!

Mattress rights: every mattress matters.

I truly hope that the mattress thing was on purpose, because that is ridiculously clever.

The right left sign looks like someone used Photoshop to alter it.

If you right something, it fell over somehow or is no longer in its correct position. Also, it could mean that you correct someone.

So, I'm led to believe that the sign means one of two things:
1) The people in the right lane must correct the people in the left [lane] for their poor driving skills.
2) The people in the right lane must correct the positioning of the left [lane].
