Friday Sign of the Apocalypse: Irony Edition
We are in favor of any protest that demands more money and attention for schools. The signs at this protest serve as case in point, while simultaneously offering up an elegant lesson in irony.
The campus looks alarmingly like Michigan State University, my alma mater. I hope I'm wrong. But, if this event was at MSU, next time I get a phone call soliciting donations, I'll have a lot of fun!
I just saw a rerun of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and they had painted "Who's house?" in giant letters on the basketball court. I would have been so mad!

I like that they attempted to fix the problem, and yet fell short.
As Dave Barry said, in one of his "Mr Language Person" columns, the meaning of an apostrophe is "Look out! There's an 's' coming!"
